SELF-CONSUMPTION OPTIMIZATION THROUGH INTELLIGENT, STEPLESS CONTROL OF HEAT SOURCES.
The Fronius Ohmpilot is a consumption regulator that uses excess PV electricity to heat water. Thanks to the stepless control from 0 to 9 kW, the excess PV power can be used efficiently and passed on to the consumers in the household. The Fronius Ohmpilot is primarily used to intelligently control heating elements for hot water preparation in boilers and buffer storage tanks. Further areas of application are, for example, infrared heating or a towel dryer. In a single-family house with average hot water consumption, the majority of household needs can be covered with solar power from April to October. The result: maximum self-consumption, reduction of CO2 emissions in the household and protection of your own heating system in the summer months.
