go-e Charger Gemini flex 2.0 22kW
The go-e Charger Gemini flex 2.0 with integrated SIM card and a maximum charging capacity of 22 kW is a wallbox for charging electric cars that can also be converted into a mobile charging station* in just a few seconds. The charger is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation and can be connected directly to an existing red CEE 32 A three-phase socket. It is ready for the first charging process immediately after connection (Plug&Play). Thanks to the integrated SIM card, you can access your portable wallbox from anywhere.
The mobile charging station is completely safe to use. The RCD protection module switches the charger off completely in the event of DC residual currents. The charging station can be used with or without an app. The free go-e Charger app can be used to change the convenience and basic settings, allowing the device to be adapted to your personal charging behavior. For example, you can plan the charging process to make it more sustainable and reduce the load on the power grid.

*If you want to use a special car electricity tariff to charge your electric car in Germany, ask your electricity provider whether they recognize a mobile charging station. If not, the stationary go-e Charger Gemini would be the right choice.
**Internet connection of the charger required.
***Contract required with an electricity provider whose flexible electricity tariff is integrated in the go-e app. Several 100 tariffs are available. The number of tariffs is constantly being expanded.
****Separate electricity supply contract with partner aWATTar required, currently only available in Austria and Germany.
go-e Charger Controller
The go-e Controller ensures that surplus electricity from a PV system is used to charge electric cars. This allows you to get the most out of your investment in a PV system by increasing your self-consumption. By means of dynamic load management, the go-e Controller prevents overloading of the house connection by automatically reducing the charging power for electric cars and plug-in hybrids connected to go-e Chargers when load peaks are detected and increasing it again as soon as possible.
*The go-e Controller is compatible with all go-e Chargers (Gemini and HOME series) and all types of PV inverters and AC battery storage systems.
Energy monitoring
With the go-e Controller, you can monitor the energy flows of buildings. As a result, depending on the position of the sun and the current electricity demand in a building, charging processes for electric cars can be controlled even more intelligently in conjunction with go-e chargers. You can also simply use the controller to monitor consumers. For example, you can keep an eye on the energy flows from the heat pump, air conditioning or sauna. Single-phase or three-phase operation of the controller is possible. With three-phase power grids, you can monitor 3 additional devices (e.g. PV inverter, AC battery storage and heat pump), with single-phase power grids even 5 additional devices.
Self-consumption optimization: efficient use of surplus PV power
With the go-e Controller, you can charge surplus solar energy into the batteries of electric vehicles via one or more go-e Chargers. If your PV panels generate more energy than is required to operate your household appliances, you can increase your self-consumption by charging and save real money with green energy. No measurement of PV production is required for the PV surplus charging and dynamic load management functions. However, by measuring directly at the AC connection of the inverter, self-consumption can also be displayed correctly. No direct communication with the PV system is necessary. Battery storage systems can also be taken into account as long as they can be measured at the AC connection (no direct measurement of battery power is possible for hybrid inverters with DC battery connection). It is up to you whether you want to charge exclusively with excess PV current or also with grid current.
Automatic phase switching
If your PV system generates at least 1.4 kW of surplus energy, the go-e Controller transmits this information to the go-e Charger and this takes care of the actual charging process with surplus PV power. The controller automatically switches between single-phase and three-phase charging depending on the available power. This allows you to achieve a high level of self-consumption even with low surplus PV production. As soon as your PV system produces enough surplus power, the controller switches to three-phase charging.
Dynamic load management to protect against power outages & peak shaving
To avoid power outages, you need a load management system when charging electric cars. The go-e Charger already has static load management, which allows you to take into account the maximum available power in your building when charging multiple electric cars. However, you would have to plan for a buffer, as other electricity consumers are running in the building. The go-e Controller therefore enables dynamic load management. If necessary due to many power consumers running at the same time, the charging power of the go-e Charger connected to the controller is automatically adjusted. As a result, your household appliances and charging stations do not consume more electricity at once than your home connection can cope with. And it’s fully automatic.
Convenient control from the couch
Set your preferences for the generation and consumption of solar energy via app directly from the couch. Or use the go-e app to access all the controller settings and customize them to your needs. Whether dynamic load management or power consumption in your building. You can keep an eye on everything. As soon as the controller is connected via Wi-Fi or LAN, charging your electric vehicle becomes even easier, safer, more cost-effective and more sustainable.
Advanced functions for experts and integrators
Do you have programming skills? Gain even more control when charging an electric vehicle. The controller has additional interfaces such as local HTTP API, Modbus TCP and MQTT. With the optional cloud connection, the functions of the controller can be optimized even further.
