Fronius Symo 7.0-3-M
This product comes with a 5-year warranty as standard, but by registering online (Fronius Solar.web) you will receive an additional 5-year warranty.
With its power class of 7 kW, the transformerless Fronius Symo is the three-phase inverter for any size system. Thanks to the SuperFlex design, the Fronius Symo is optimal for angled or differently oriented roofs.
The standard connection to the Internet via WLAN or Ethernet and the easy integration of third-party components make the Fronius Symo one of the most communicative inverters on the market.
In addition, the meter interface enables dynamic feed-in management and clear consumption visualization.
SNAPINVERTER TECHNOLOGY
The SnapINverter generation of inverters is characterized by its simple, consistent mounting system. This makes installation & maintenance easier than ever. The special feature of the device design is the separation of the connection and power section. Both are mounted separately. First, the exceptionally lightweight connection section including all wiring is mounted on the wall. Then the power section. The innovative swivel concept makes installation & service particularly user-friendly. The inverter is simply hooked into the wall bracket and then secured. In case of service, it is therefore not necessary to remove the entire inverter, but only the power section. The entire cabling remains intact.
INTEGRATED DATA COMMUNICATION
We are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a data communication package that fully integrates data logging, WLAN, Ethernet, energy management, a web server and numerous interfaces. This means that the inverter is connected to the Internet via network cable or WLAN – without additional cabling – and you have an optimal overview of the operation of the PV system. The connection to third-party components is ensured via interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API (JSON). In addition, the open interfaces can be operated in parallel with Fronius Solar.web.
SUPERFLEX DESIGN
The Fronius SuperFlex Design is a sophisticated combination of technical performance features that make designing PV systems particularly flexible and easy for you. The most important performance factors of the SuperFlex Design are: Two MPP trackers combined with the high system voltage and the wide DC input voltage range. Each DC input, and thus each MPP tracker, is also capable of absorbing the entire inverter power rating. Whether different roof orientations, the shading of one or two strings or even the use of residual modules: With a Fronius inverter with integrated SuperFlex design, you cover every relevant design scenario in operational PV planning practice with just one inverter model.
DYNAMIC PEAK MANAGER
The Dynamic Peak Manager is a novel MPP tracking algorithm that dynamically adjusts its behavior when searching for the optimal operating point. The special feature is that the Dynamic Peak Manager regularly checks the entire characteristic curve automatically and thus finds the global maximum power point (GMPP) even in the case of partial shading.
SMART GRID READY
Fronius inverters are ready for the smart grid of tomorrow. The inverters are ideally equipped for future grid-related requirements. A number of smart functions, so-called Advanced Grid Features, are available in the devices. These are various control functions for the optimal feed-in of reactive and active power. The aim of these functions is to enable safe grid operation even with a very high density of PV systems. And to prevent undesired feed-in interruptions and associated yield losses due to cross-border grid parameters. The yield of the PV system is thus optimally secured with Fronius inverters. In addition, Fronius inverters can be used to implement dynamic feed-in control that takes self-consumption into account when feed-in limits are set. Simply connect the meter and set the feed-in limit!
ZERO FEED-IN
Today, electricity grid operators in many countries are increasingly demanding feed-in limitation of PV power as a prerequisite for grid connection. With dynamic power reduction, Fronius offers a solution for optimum feed-in management. The inverter first supplies the loads in the household. Then it reduces the power to the maximum power feed-in allowed by the grid operator. With Fronius inverters, zero feed-in is also possible thanks to this function. In this way, no PV power is fed into the grid and corresponding requirements of the grid operator can be easily met by means of a simple setting on the inverter’s web interface.
ACTIVE COOLING
Active cooling technology relies on one or more fans, which not only avoid heat fields, but also regulate the air circulation inside the inverter, keeping the temperature of the power electronics low. This has a positive effect on the service life of the devices, optimizes yields and reduces costs. At Fronius, Active Cooling is a technology standard in all devices.
