Integrated data communication
As a pioneer among inverter manufacturers, we offer a comprehensive data communication package that fully integrates data logging, WLAN, Ethernet, energy management, a web server and numerous interfaces. This allows the inverter to be connected to the Internet via network cable as well as via WLAN – without additional cabling – giving you an optimum overview of the operation of the PV system. The integration of third-party components is ensured via interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API (JSON). These open interfaces can also be used in parallel with Fronius Solar.web.
Dynamic Peak Manager
The Dynamic Peak Manager is an innovative MPP tracking algorithm that adapts dynamically to find the optimum operating point. It is particularly noteworthy that the Dynamic Peak Manager regularly checks the entire characteristic curve automatically and thus finds the global maximum power point (GMPP) even in the event of partial shading.
Multi Flow Technology
With Multi Flow Technology, different DC and AC energy flows are possible in parallel. This means that energy from the modules and the battery can be made available to the household at the same time. In addition, energy from the modules can be fed into the battery and the household grid at the same time. The battery can be charged both from the DC side and from the AC side (for example from existing PV systems or other energy sources such as a wind turbine), which makes the inverter ideal for AC-coupled retrofitting. The inverter controls these energy flows in such a way that the highest possible level of self-sufficiency is achieved.
SuperFlex Design
The Fronius SuperFlex Design is a sophisticated combination of technical performance features that makes the planning of PV systems particularly flexible and simple. The most important performance factors of the SuperFlex design include two MPP trackers in combination with the high system voltage and the wide DC input voltage range. Each DC input and therefore each MPP tracker is able to absorb the entire rated inverter power. No matter whether different roof orientations, shading of one or two strings or the use of residual modules: With a Fronius inverter with integrated SuperFlex design, you can in practice cover every relevant design scenario with just one inverter model.
Full backup
The Full Backup option makes it possible to supply the entire household, i.e. both 1-phase and 3-phase appliances, in the event of an emergency. In addition to the inverter, a battery and a switchover device for safe grid disconnection are required for full backup.
PV Point
The integrated basic emergency power supply, a socket supplied with emergency power, ensures that important loads can be operated even in the event of a grid failure. The PV Point can be used both with and without storage.
Active cooling
Active cooling technology uses one or more fans that not only prevent heat fields, but also regulate the air circulation inside the inverter and thus keep the temperature of the power electronics low. This has a positive effect on the service life of the devices, optimizes yields and reduces costs. At Fronius, Active Cooling is a technology standard in all devices.
