The AC ELWA 2 is a 0 – 3.5 kW infinitely variable water heating unit for grid-connected photovoltaic systems and is the successor of the proven AC ELWA-E.

The AC ELWA 2 uses surplus photovoltaic energy for your water heating and thus optimizes the self-consumption of the existing PV system. At the same time, the self-sufficiency is increased – this protects against incalculable or increasing operating costs.

The stepless control regulates the PV feed-in power to zero.

The AC ELWA 2 has the proven optional hot water backup: Even if the sun does not shine sufficiently, the hot water can be brought to the desired temperature by energy from the public power grid. The unit can be installed in hot water and buffer tanks.
