The highly innovative, transportable charging unit NRGkick is the safest charging unit on the market – and probably also the most intelligent.
With NRGkick it is possible to charge as quickly as possible at any standard socket and in future even at public charging stations (with up to 22 kW, 1- / 2- / 3-phase).
The groundbreaking, patented safety plug system with temperature monitoring on each phase pin ensures that charred sockets are excluded – regardless of whether they are CEE32, CEE16 or Schuko.
Innovations such as the autonomous load management, blackout protection, locally assignable charging reports via WLAN and the possibility of upgrading further functions via the app at any time (such as photovoltaic-controlled charging with phase switching soon), prove that with NRGkick you are not only technically just up to date, but far beyond!

Fastest possible charging (up to 22 kW)

With NRGkick, all electric cars with a type 2 interface, regardless of whether they are 1-, 2- or 3-phase, can be charged with the maximum possible AC charging speed (up to 22 kW).
Compared to the “emergency charging cable” for household sockets, this means that charging is up to 10 times faster and you can start your next trip fully charged in the shortest possible time instead of many hours.

Easy and uncomplicated

With NRGkick you don’t have to struggle with planning and installations for a long time:
NRGkick can be used immediately on any standard socket and, thanks to the optionally available type 2 plug attachment, also on public charging stations.
This means that you can charge your electric car wherever there is electricity and, if necessary, have your “wallbox” with you!
You can of course leave NRGkick permanently connected to your socket without hesitation – it is absolutely temperature-resistant and even rain cannot harm it.

No installation necessary

A huge advantage of the NRGkick charging unit is that nothing more than a socket is required – in contrast to wall boxes, complicated installations are unnecessary, which saves a lot of time and money.
The residual current protection mechanism for AC and DC residual currents, which otherwise has to be installed separately, is also already included.

Suitable for all sockets and charging stations

NRGkick plug attachments are available for all standard sockets and soon also for public charging stations.
This means that NRGkick is actually everything your electric car needs to charge.
When connecting to normal household sockets, NRGkick naturally complies with the applicable country-specific requirements – for example, in Switzerland, when charging electric vehicles at household sockets, only a maximum of 8A can be charged.
With NRGkick you can be sure that all requirements are correctly followed.
With the type 2 plug attachment, you can also charge with NRGkick at public charging stations and thus do without the additional mode 3 cable that would otherwise be required.

The safest charging unit on the market

NRGkick offers a wealth of safety functions, some of which have never been seen before, such as the patented safety connector system with pull-off detection and arc protection as well as temperature monitoring for each connector on each individual phase pin!
With Schuko plug attachments, the temperature is recorded on both pins: charred sockets are a thing of the past once and for all!

Patented safety connector system

The patented safety connector system of the NRGkick has unique functions that are way ahead of the market.
It consists of the plug unit and plug attachments, which are available for all standard sockets as well as for public charging stations.
This means that NRGkick is in fact everything an e-car driver ever needs to charge his vehicle wherever there is electricity!
However, the system scores with many other functions.
For example, it enables the temperature to be measured – and this for each individual connector and here even for each individual phase pin.
With Schuko plug attachments, the temperature is recorded on both pins: charred sockets are therefore excluded with NRGkick!
Another unique selling point is the system’s fully automatic pull-off detection.
This ensures that when the charging unit is disconnected from the power supply, no dangerous arcs can occur for you and your socket.

Thermo-protect temperature management

If a socket becomes too hot, this is recognized thanks to the temperature monitoring of the plug attachments on each phase pin.
With the included temperature management, NRGkick is able to regulate the charging current completely independently and to guarantee safe operation without danger.
With household sockets, both pins are temperature-monitored, so there is always absolute security for the charging unit AND socket – regardless of the connection!

Autonomous load management and blackout protection

An absolutely unique selling point: NRGkick brings autonomous load management and protects against power failures!
This means: If NRGkick detects that the voltage drops too much due to an excessive load in the network, the charging current is automatically regulated so that the network can “recover” or stabilize.
In contrast to other load management systems, no complex configuration is required here – the autonomous load management of the NRGkick works fully automatically and without user intervention. In addition to this unique function, additional load management options will also be available for NRGkick in the future.

Bluetooth and WiFi

Thanks to the large number of interfaces, it is ensured that NRGkick can be reached anytime and anywhere.
