The generator junction box is for photovoltaic systems up to 1000 V DC for connecting 1x 4 strings.

The main tasks of the GAKs are the overvoltage protection of the PV system, the collection of strings if necessary and the looping through of the protective equipotential bonding conductor to the local equipotential bonding.
